LHON PLUS is a rare disease and as a result it is has not had a great deal of research. The LHON PLUS PROJECT hopes to change that.

As patients we are left with questions like how do you diagnose and treat LHON PLUS/MS? What is the prognosis?  What is the incidence within the population and within families with the gene? How do you treat it?
