LHON PLUS is a rare disease and as a result it is has not had a great deal of research. The LHON PLUS PROJECT hopes to change that.

As patients we are left with questions like how do you diagnose and treat LHON PLUS? What is the prognosis?  What is the incidence within the population and within families with the gene?
